A Seasonal Tourism During the COVID-19 Pandemic in Parapat, Lake Toba

Parapat is a village in Girsang Sipangan Bolon District, Simalungun Regency. In the Master Plan of Priority Tourism Destinations (RIDPP) Lake Toba 2020-2045, became one Key Area (KTA) supporting Destination (DPP). DPP ten that government has set achieving tourism development goals. So aggressively developing Indonesia to be increasingly known both nationally and internationally, more directed towards sustainable development. The indicators assessed this study are on seasonal issues, which refers Baseline Indicators Sustainable Development for by WTO. This research uses qualitative with descriptive approach. Award chose because explores assessment will presented form. results analysis found there was an increase number tourist visits Parapat. due many meeting activities MICE held at hotel various agencies local agency area. Regarding attractions, Festival cannot enactment PPKM rules response COVID-19 pandemic situation 2020, all lodging establishments, restaurants, attractions implement strict health protocols. Some hotels have take policy close their businesses until June temporarily. However, July, they reopened business low room occupancy rate. addition, several implementations protocols dining establishment must applied every Parapat, such as maintaining distance providing sink visitors.
